Overview

Wallos is a lightweight PHP web app for tracking personal subscriptions and recurring expenses. It provides a clean dashboard with spending statistics, multi-currency support, and optional notifications when bills are due. The app stores data in SQLite and deploys via Docker with a single container. It focuses purely on subscription visibility rather than full budgeting.

Where it falls short of Mint

  • No bank/account sync; subscriptions must be entered manually
  • No general budgeting categories or spending envelopes like YNAB
  • Reporting is limited to subscription totals — no net-worth or cash-flow views
  • No mobile native app; mobile access is browser-only

We list the gaps honestly so you can decide if the trade-off is worth owning your data.
