Overview
Tracks is a Ruby on Rails web application implementing David Allen's Getting Things Done (GTD) methodology. It supports contexts, projects, next actions, someday/maybe lists, and tickler dates. Designed for personal productivity but can be hosted for a small team.
Where it falls short of Asana
- Single-user focused; collaboration features are minimal
- No Kanban board or Gantt chart view
- Development pace is slow; community is small
We list the gaps honestly so you can decide if the trade-off is worth owning your data.
