Overview
Statping-NG is a community-maintained continuation of Statping, a status page and service monitoring tool. It checks HTTP, TCP, and gRPC endpoints, records response times, and renders a customizable status page with charts. It ships as a single binary or Docker image and can send alerts to many notifier channels.

- Development pace is slow and community-driven; releases are infrequent
- Single-region checks only; no global probe network
- Status page customization is more limited than Statuspage.io
