  • No built-in multi-user/team server — syncing relies on external storage (WebDAV/cloud) with no central access control
  • Browser autofill and mobile support are weaker than commercial managers
  • It is a client over KeePass files, not a true server platform with sharing/policies
Vaultwarden
  • Unofficial reimplementation; not supported or endorsed by Bitwarden, so API changes can break compatibility
  • No official mobile/desktop apps of its own; depends entirely on Bitwarden's clients
