PhotoStructure
Automatically organize and browse your entire photo and video library
Overview
PhotoStructure scans your existing photo directories and external drives, de-duplicates images, and presents them in a timeline-based web gallery with automatic organization by date and location. It supports RAW files, videos, and metadata-rich EXIF browsing without moving or re-encoding your originals. The core is free for personal use with a paid license for teams.
Where it falls short of Google Photos
- Advanced features (multi-user, team libraries) require a paid license
- No mobile backup client; relies on your existing photo sync solution
- Initial library scan on large collections can take many hours
We list the gaps honestly so you can decide if the trade-off is worth owning your data.
